Ryzen 5000 processors in late October, RX 6000 in mid-November

A new rumour suggests that AMD will launch its first Ryzen 5000 processors on October 20th or 27th. A release date for the Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards has also been rumoured, sitting somewhere between November 15th and 20th.

As per Yuri Bubliy, the creator of CTR and DRAM Calculator for Ryzen, AMD is scheduling the launch of the Ryzen 5000 processors for October 20th, just 12 days after their official announcement. The first processors to launch will be the Ryzen 7 5800X and the Ryzen 9 5900X, while the Ryzen 5 5600X and the Ryzen 9 5950X will come at a later date. Additionally, Yuri stated that despite these release dates being “old information”, AMD’s plan hasn’t changed.

ComputerBase also received information that AMD has scheduled the release of their upcoming Ryzen 5000 processors for October 20th or 27th. AMD skipping the “Ryzen 4000 series” naming scheme is getting more likely by each day.

Yuri also claimed that the Radeon RX 6000 series of graphics cards will come out in mid-November, between the 15th and 20th, a couple of weeks after AMD’s GPU event on the 28th of October.
